Sure, you could grab a boneless barbecued pork loin sandwich or charbroiled hot dog at this spot, but why? We say skip 'em: This joint's proud of it's burgers -- and for good reason; They're half-pound monsters. Try the Blackie Burger topped with grilled onions and tons of bacon strips. While the comfortable, Art Deco-inspired room featuring lots of dark wood and brass railings isn't terribly hip,
the massive outdoor patio is a popular post-work hang for staffers from the nearby Mercantile Exchange. There's also a Carson's Express tucked inside, which offers ribs, slaw, and other fixin's for carryout only.
