Alfie's Inn: User Reviews
Alfie's Inn
425 Roosevelt Rd. - Glen Ellyn630-858-2506
Alfie's is a simple, yet effective place for a good meal. My wife and I each had a burger and a beer and the bill was under $30 with tip. Definitely a place to visit if you are in the mood for a low-key burger night.

Now I know why I never knew it was there next to McDs, even though I live in the area (I always cut across Taft instead of taking Roosevelt). But not having signage off their Taft entrance(DIRECTLY across from a sign shop) is the least of their problems.
I tried them out for the first time 2/3/09 and should have known better when I saw how deserted their dining room was. The hostess was less than welcoming so i'm glad my order was only for pickup. Their burger (two barren pieces of bun and a SERIOUSLY UNDERCOOKED patty completely pink). C'mon guys not even a single piece of lettuce or a tomato slice... NOTHING??? i had to microwave the burger to finish cooking it. I also ordered some salad. but who makes a salad with no tomato? and i have no idea what type of dressing that was so i still havent eaten the salad because then i'd have to go out and buy some salad dressing. well at least it provided me with the lettuce to put on my sad excuse for a burger. At least the fries were good.
