This longstanding, critically acclaimed Alsatian-style brasserie from chef-partner Jean Joho and Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises offers a mix of classic French starters (think escargot in butter, oysters and smoked salmon), seafood, steaks and house specialties such as roasted duck breast, rack of lamb and skate wing. Alsatian-style pizzas and small plates with choices such as quiche lorraine and sardines with onion and lemon are lighter options. Look for Alsatian wines at the bar, as well as a selection of hand-crafted beers, including a house brew available only at the restaurant. The large, unpretentious dining room offers a European feel with white tablecloths, dark wood accents and banquette seating throughout.
