This cupcake boutique got its start as an online-only bakeshop before launching this retail outlet in the heart of the Loop. In the morning, try apple-cinnamon, blueberry-vanilla and other flavored breakfast cupcakes-- if you’re not in the mood for a sugar overload before noon, they’ll hold the icing. Any other time of day, this cupcake haven offers 20 flavors, including seasonal options. For a quick sugar hit, try a frosting shot, a little paper cup of frosting designed to be downed in one quick squeeze. Sugar Bliss is mostly a carryout operation; the grab-and-go atmosphere doesn’t lend itself to hanging around unless you’re one of the lucky few who snags one of the window spots near the bar counter.
