Pastry chef Nathaniel Meads (Blue Water Grill, Brasserie Jo, Everest, Tru), his wife, Elaine Heaney, and partner Jared Nance (both Nacional 27 vets) are behind this pastry-centered Lincoln Park cafe. Look for classic pastries such as brioches, danishes and croissants, as well as the not-so-common, including bostock and pithiviers. Fritz also offers four savory items a day: a soup, a salad, a sandwich and quiche that change at whim, depending on what ingredients inspire Meads.

live nearby --eat out twice a day--can't go to Fritz -- in a wheelchair. So disabled's money is not valued, nor is the quality of their life.
