Cafe Luna is a gold mine on the south side of chicago. It has something for everyone with a wide variety of coffee, teas, and specialty drinks. The employees are delightful and upbeat. I have noticed a spectacular improvement in service over the past few years under the new ownership. Cafe Luna is a friendly place to jump start your day, or a unique oasis for un-winding at the end of the day. Enjoy!

Cafe Luna has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with the added bonus of providing a wi-fi connection for laptop owners. The coffee and tea selection is adequate, and there is a breakfast and lunch menu to choose from. I like the outdoor patio in back. It's got a secret garden kind of feeling to it which is nice to take in on a lazy weekend. The only trouble I have is with the sloooow service. Otherwise, thumbs up!

I don't mind the unpolished service (at least it's well-meaning, not rude like Wicker Park)or mediocre food since it's just so darned nice and comfortable in there. I'm just surprised that the coffee is so lousy! Not sure what brand they use but they ought to consider a change. Anyway, I really like the place, it just needs some tightening up.
