This family-friendly brat house is "just tryin' to compete against the big guys" in the chain-infused
'burbs, says Ralph Kamradt, who along with wife Judy, owns the place. We think he's doing a pretty good job. This place offers hearty food and an atmosphere brimming with character. Erected in the 1930s as a grocery store, the building's centerpiece is a 1932 working wood cooler. Delicious housemade potato pancakes complement the large selection of sausages, and five German beers on tap will help you wash 'em down.
