After listening to food critic James Ward gush about this place on CH 7 3 years ago,it has been on my "to visit list" for a while. DISAPPOINTING! We went there with out of town guests and arrived at 2:30.The outdoor area was not the pristine, lush garden area they showed on TV! It was messy, fountain wasn't running (to the dismay of the kids!)the wait staff seemed disinterested and SLOW to ask us anything and we were the only ones out there and service was super slow. The food was awful, prices very high and how can you ruin kids' chicken nuggets? At a cost of $76 plus tip for a party of 6, this was robbery.Also, even though it's an old place, how about sprucing up the restrooms too? Ugh! Stuffy, hot, old, bleak and dark. Beware of restaurant reviews older than a year or two old! Should of went to Berghoff instead, it's still TOP QUALITY even though it's been there a LONG time.
