Built like a chalet and adorned with Old World paintings, family owned and operated Frtizl's features traditional German food as well as European mainstays in a supper-club atmosphere. The appetizer Peasant Platter, an assortment of cured and smoked German-style ham and Hungarian salami served with pickles and spicy mustard, takes you right into the Black Forest. Schnitzel happens here as well as geschnetzeltes (veal stroganoff), sauerbraten, thuringer and bratwurst, weekend duck specials and Hungarian goulash, but there's also escargot and steaks. A kid's menu, robust Austrian desserts such as apple strudel. and Black Forest cherry torte and a spacious lounge with televisions insure a good time for all ages.

Outstanding atmosphere. Wonderful wait staff. Had a delicious roast duck, accompaniied with a great tasting red cabbage. Would deffinatley go back.
