Bavaria Hof: User Reviews

It's hard to describe just how awful this restaurant is. The ambiance was terrible - bad decor and poor lighting in a strip mall. The service was incredibly slow. The restaurant wasn't full and it took more than two hours to get out of there and it took repeated requests just to get a soda refill. The food was disgusting. I can't imagine ever going back to this dump.

The food and service were very good. Loved the potato pancakes and liver dumpling soup! We also enjoyed the sauerbraten and the ram schnitzel.

Ordered a sausage appetizer and it tasted like fried balognas and hotdog. The room temperature was colder then the beer. Food was ok, but small portion, lunch with appetizer, one soda and a pretzel + tip right over 50 bucks. Absolute zero value considering what we got. Stay away, visit the Brahause, or Snitzle on North ave. Two thumbs down.
Report This ReviewThis is a nice place for German food. Not outstanding and not the same as in Germany, but close enough for the USA. Good service - they would do whatever we asked to please us.
Report This ReviewA small and cold kind of place with bad food and service. The only way that this place could be good is if you just want there for a drink and that is it. The beer in the only thing good here. Do yourself a favor, save your money and find another German restaurant.
Report This ReviewExcellent food and always more than I can finish.I can't say I've ever had a bad meal there.I was quite suprised at reading some of the other reviews.
Report This ReviewTerrible food! Price for two over $60. Good that Taco Bell is close, 'cause you will be leaving hungry.
Report This ReviewFood is below average and portions are small. The only good thing about it is beer and that guy playing every possible instrument. Entrees are expensive and definitely not worth it. Don't come if you are hungry. Don't come if you want an authentic German food. You won't find it here.
