This Uptown spot, once a standard sushi restaurant, takes fusion to new heights with a menu that pits Japanese standards such as sashimi, maki, udon, tempura and teriyaki against an odd mismatch of other items, including New England clam chowder, shrimp risotto, pizza and the “bacon stick,” a breadstick spiral-wrapped with a slice of bacon and covered in parmesan cheese. A late-night menu is available daily, providing an alternative to greasy late-night fare—and a response to the odd 2 a.m. unagi craving. Everything on the menu is buy-one, get-one-free on Monday.
