Original outpost of the popular pan-Asian chain, Joy Yee features a massive menu packed with globetrotting noodle and rice dishes. Choices include Japanese beef dumplings, Thai spicy shrimp with basamati rice, Korean spicy shrimp and noodle soup, Szechuan beef and rice, and Vietnamese fish fillet with salted egg rice are just a sampling of the many options. The presentations here will catch your eye -- ample portions are served in oversized Asian bowls, bamboo pots, stone bowls, hot pots, and even a halved pineapple. Bubble teas -- the iced tea-drink laced with tapioca pearls sipped through a fat straw -- are the preferred beverage. Flavor choices include mango, honeydew and banana.
