Two things about this place standout: They care deeply about quality, and they know how to serve you. Even if I had not spoken at length with the owner I would have come away from my meal thinking, "These folks are doing it right!" The restaurant is clean and warm, welcoming. The host/owner treats you as if you were in his home, essentially true since the the remainder of the staff are his wife and kids. Thier pride shows through in the dishes. Garlic and herb infused olive oil for dipping, three cheese spread with hearty sliced bread you start with ("better than butter"), a fine soup and perfectly grilled meats. I'm looking forward to going back to try the seafood. You know it's been there for a decade. Simple food done well, as the owner says, "It's like eating at grandmas."

I went to Restaurant Sarajevo with a large group of friends a few weeks ago. The dining room was nicely decorated and our table was ready for us upon our arrival. The owner was quite helpful in describing the various dishes to us, as most everyone in our party was unfamiliar with Bosinan food. The food itself was fantastic. I ordered the combination platter and was very impressed with everything on the plate. The portions were generous and I believe everyone took home leftovers. What impressed me most with this place, however, was the friendly atmosphere that the owner and his family created for us. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes meat. The prices were very reasonable and the fact that this is a BYOB doesn't hurt either.

Visited this neighborhood eatery this week and found the revamped restaurant well appointed and very clean. Tried a couple of appetizers and the calamarie was absolutely fabulous....fresh fish, hand cut and lightly battered, fried in clean oil to a perfect finish. Pass on mushrooms stuffed with cheese; too rich for my blood. Fresh trout for the entree had one of the best flavors I've had on a whole fish and, they removed the head prior to serving!! The mixed meat/sausage platter was good; sausages were perfectly cooked; chicken and veal not overcooked. Overall the experience was delightful. Only downside was a large birthday party was being held in the restaurant and some of the parents could not contain their chilred... Ask if you call for reservations if any 'children' parties going on. Plenty of street parking both metered and not available.
