Soupbox: User Reviews
Soupbox
50 E. Chicago Ave. - Chicago312-951-5900
As the name suggests, Soupbox is all about the soup. They have about 12 different types, so there's lots to choose from. But in the end, it's just soup. The biggest grip I can think of is the price. I got a regular (aka small) soup and regular (again, the small) salad and no drink and it set be back $11. I just can't justify going back for an $11 lunch. I understand that it's downtown and it's somewhat of a speciality store, but in the end, it's just too expensive for soup. I won't be returning.

I just paid $7 for a cup of broth. This place must make a killing. Skip it.

This place is fantastic. The lobster bisque is amazing, the staff is always friendly... only negative comment I would have is that they only take cash!
Report This ReviewSoup's good food, and they do it right at the soupbox. its usually very busy at lunch, but worth the wait. I like to mix the lobster bisque and the clam chowder - mmm mmm great.
