Carnivores with a love of sauce will find a haven at Merle's BBQ. The rustic spot is decorated with John Wayne, Elvis and country music memorabilia, with projection TV screens in the back to satisfy sports fans. Portions are generous, with favorites including fall-off-the-bone baby-back ribs and sandwiches piled high with pulled pork, all served with a choice of sides including fries, cornbread and baked beans. If you can't choose just one entree (or you haven't eaten all day) the Barnyard Platter offers two types of ribs, chicken, pork and brisket for groups of two or more.
