As you might expect from a place called Hickory's, the menu at this barbecue joint in the Old Town space that once housed Hecky's of Chicago features hickory-smoked baby backs, spareribs and beef ribs, all served with a sweet-and-smoky signature sauce. Other bestsellers include rib tips, fried shrimp, beer-battered cod and fried and barbecued chicken with sides such as hush puppies, baked beans and corn bread. Lighter fare includes salads, wraps, hot dogs and Polish sausage sandwiches.
