The specialty is, of course, barbecue--ribs, chicken, brisket, pork and more--slow-smoked over real hickory logs and served dry (spice-rubbed) or wet. Two barbecue sauces are available: spicy Cajun, Texas-style. Popular dishes include the Pig Out: a BBQ sauce-based pizza with pulled pork, ham and smoked pork sausage on it (the owners inherited a pizza oven from the previous tenant) as well as the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. Enjoy hearty sides like mac 'n' cheese, onion rings, mashed potatoes and gravy, and sweet potato-cranberry-apple casserole. This restaurant can be a little difficult to find, so do call ahead for directions.
