Bar-B-Que Bob's

Neighborhood: Rogers Park

Chicago, IL 60645

Price range: $ (Under $9)

This casual Rogers Park eatery specializes in all-things barbecue. Owner Bob Dunlap, who previously owned a rib joint in Merrillville, Indiana, seasons his baby back ribs with a dry rub and than smokes them on-site in a rotisserie smoker. Then he hits them with his house-made sweet-and-spicy barbecue sauce. In addition to ribs, meaty choices include rib tips, turkey, chicken, pulled pork and hot links. Turnip greens, red beans and cole slaw are a few of the side dish choices. Finish your meal with a slice of sweet potato or lemon cream cheese pie.
