Hashbrowns
- Neighborhood: Pilsen/Heart of Chicago/Little Village
- 969 W. 18th St.
- Chicago, IL 60608
- No phone yet.
A sister spot to University Village's Hashbrowns, this new Pilsen location is being built from the ground up. It's slated to debut in spring or summer 2010. Look for the same menu of breakfast and lunch fare, including a lineup of omelets and burgers named after Chicago neighborhoods such as the Greektown omelet (fresh spinach, feta and tomatoes) and the Maxwell Street burger (Polish sausage, grilled pork chop, grilled onions). Other offerings include waffles, French toast, a Caesar salad and a pepper-and-egg panino. The namesake hashbrowns come in multiple formats, including new red potatoes with garlic and rosemary and a mix of Idaho and sweet potatoes sauteed with sliced garlic and topped with Romano cheese.
