I went for Dinner recently and was very impressed with the service and food. Prices were reasonable for dinner on Rush Street and portions were appropriate. I'll be back.

We have been 4 times since opening and the lunch has been amazing. We loved the salads and pizzas. We also came for brunch and the french toast was incredible. The servers are all friendly and helpful and the terrace is outstanding - I would much rather eat there than on the dirty city sidewalk. The portions are big and overall it is a great addition to the neighborhood. It was much needed!!

You won't find a pizza this good anywhere this side of Naples! The food was delicious, the service attentive, and a view that can't be beat! (Not to mention the incredible shopping that awaits after you've finished dining...) The outdoor terrace will be a must this summer!!!

I was very shocked at just how boring the food was. $14 for a turkey club that I could have made better at home was ridiculous. The sandwich was boring...dry turkey and tasteless bread. It tasted the same as Wonder Bread. The food is so not worth the price. With so many other options around, Fred's better step up its game or else it won't last.

Think twice before you brunch at Fred's. The fruit juices came out of a can, from concentrate, and the "basket of fresh pastries" tasted like they arrived, wrapped in plastic from a gas station convenience store. This is a huge disappointment as the location and space are great. This is certainly not the place for a tasteful meal.

The waiter brougt a bottle of wine to our table poured and then put the Pinot Grigio in an ice bucket just out of our reach and never poured another glass. The food is awful, I had a salad and my husband a sandwich and it is a toss up which was worse. We live just down the street from Barney's and were hoping this could be a new lunch destination.
The rest of the "boys on the block" don't have to worry about this new contender

We need to remember that this restaraunt is very very new, and the entire building has had some issues with electrical etc. We also need to understand a few things, the chef is unique and his expertise and presentations are exceptional, they have the best bartender in Chicago-Clarence a good enough reason to go, a good wine list, knowledgable staff and one of the best views in Chicago-keep the curtains open!!!
My lunch and later a dinner with friends was a blast, even though I must admit the lights need to be brought down...great management expertise here in a political environment that is specific to the retail efforts..much like New York in time there will be lines trying to get in this great restaraunt. I'll be back for sure.

The ambiance is lovely, we sat outside, service was excellent but the food was horrible. Our pizza had very little basil and no fresh totmatoes, the salads were wilted. This was on a Monday at noon. Would go back for the coffee!
