This health-conscious takeout spot in the South Loop is not your average fried chicken joint. (In fact, there's only one fried option: wings.) Don't be confused by the name either. The building actually has two entrances, one for Chef Luciano and the other for Pollo al Carbon. Entrees such as jerk chicken, fresh salmon, roasted chicken piri piri (seasoned with the African pepper) and grilled catfish are fresh, aromatic and much larger than most folks can finish in one sitting. Dinners come with plentiful sides, including stir-fried veggies, rice, potatoes, black beans or garlic bread.
