This Lakeview African spot, once a Taste of Chicago regular, serves a mix of Nigerian and Ghanian fare. Favorites include jollof rice and a variety of spicy stews, including peanut stew and the popular egusi (watermelon seed), traditionally served with fufu (boiled, pounded yams). There's also a seasonal menu that changes every three months to focus on a different region of Africa. The bar is open later (till 2 a.m. most nights), serving a modern cocktail list packing lots of tropical fruits and bright flavors.
