Featuring local and national acts in all musical styles, Elbo Room is one of the city's top live-music venues. The upstairs area, served by a full bar, is laid-back, dim and full of small cocktail tables and comfortable seating. There's a larger bar downstairs and an excellent performance space; seating runs along the walls. The area in front of the stage is frequently filled with sweaty patrons dancing and swaying to ska and soul, rock and reggae.
