An old theater with the floor seating removed, Metro presents loud local and international acts in a fairly intimate venue. Formerly called Cabaret Metro, it dropped the "Cabaret" but remains one of the best live music venues in Chicago -- the starting point for Smashing Pumpkins, Ministry and many others.
