Open for more than 30 years, Ronny's is a very laid-back neighborhood spot with a sign--well, it's just the name written vertically on a small glass window--that you won't see unless you're looking for it. Inside is a no-fuss bar: about a dozen bar stools, a couple outdated arcade games, a pool table, a pay phone (the establishment's only phone) and two beers on tap: Miller Lite and MGD. No food is available, but Ronny's has a microwave on hand in case Ronny himself gets hungry. Customers are permitted to bring in food of their own (and use the microwave if necessary). The bar's rec room-style side area is rented out several times per week for concerts, with cover rarely topping $5. Ronny isn't shy about his lack of involvement in choosing the acts: "I just sell the booze."
