I'd rather shoot myself in the face than listen to Radiohead.

Bono should be top obviously... Oh and if you think quoting the NME is cool, you should spend a bit of time in the UK. That magazine is a laughing stock.

And darling...Live is from York, which is in Southeastern Pa. If you're gonna diss them, at least get your facts straight.

I'm guessing the author is a big hiphop fan. Why not just put Jim Morrison or Kurt Cobain or Robert Plant on the list if ypu're going to pick so many talented vocalists that have dynamic stage presence? Like the other person said, wtf DO you like?? I'm really curious. Yeah there are several that are anoying on the list, but at least half I would guess MOST rock fans would disagree with. And I'll bet the author hasn't written any songs either. OOPS!

I almost agree even though there are big name guys who deserve respect sometimes they can be annoying. The list is very even, it hits all equally but i feel the new guys like the lead singer for m chemical romance should be more in the middle, annoying because he copies other artists and more in the middle because he doesnt deserve to be higher on the list, thats for the real stars.

Thom Yorke? Really? Have you seen Radiohead live? Not for one second did I find Thom Yorke annoying? If anything I thought he was pretty funny when he broke out into his weird, little dances during songs. It's a little sad that you had to put him right before Chester Bennington. Boo on you. Boo on you.

Thom Yorke doesn't belong on ANY list that includes Scott Stapp, Chad Kroeger or Fred Durst. Period.

This is all of course a matter of opinion. Some people can relate to these frontmen and their music other's just don't. For me the top of my list is every R&B/Rapper/Hip-Hop girl that dresses like a mix between Gwen Stefani from the good ol' days of No Doubt and the "pros" that hang out on 4th and court when the bars let out. In fact some of these people on the list garner a crowd solely because of their "act". Dave Matthews has what some fans call "Dave-Speak" and love to listen to him rant. Duritz has his love-the-earth-politics and Vedder has his gripe with just about everything. I think this list probably started because people just want to hear the music and not your self-absorbed view on the world unless it goes along with a rockin' beat and a sing-a-long melody. Listen to the song "Shut Up and Play" by the local band SNAFU and you'll understand this list of people. :)

Master of Music, some of the most successful people in music history are annoying. Just look at David Lee Roth.

I really want to put 5 stars next to all the ones I agree are annoying, but then I feel like I am voting for all the frontmen I hate. If I put a 1 star is it like a double negative? I'm so torn...

Eddie Vedder is clearly the_most annoying front man in rock and Peal Jam is clearly the most_overrated band.

Eddie Vedder and Dave Matthews? Two of the most successful musicians of the last decade sure must be annoying. you're full it chicago metromix. what's your favorite band evers? F chicago metro mix, obvious a bunch of tasteless punks. I agree with some of your choices but those Eddie and Dave, they'll extremely strong voices of our generations. There aren't many around who are strong as them vocally.

i totally disagree. most of these front men with the exception of Fred durst and Axl rose. the rest of the guys listed aren't that annoying especially Bono, chris martin, and billy corgan.

what, no annoying front women? Has anyone seen Alanis on stage recently with her cross walk over and over and over and over...?
