This eclectic North Center club-and-cafe combo features a rotating schedule of live jazz, funk, blues, Latin, Greek and classical music, plus movie nights and occasional photo and art exhibits. There are generally nine events a week, with double-headers on the weekends. The neighborhoody room has a hodgepodge of chairs, tables and couches, giving it a homey feel. The cafe menu features Southern-Euro fare with choices like baked eggplant, broiled tilapia with herbed almond lemon butter, chicken breast stuffed with sauteed spinach and ricotta, and lighter offerings like panini. Weekend brunch offers a blue cheese and roasted red pepper oven-baked omelet and a smoked salmon plate. The bar features a specialty martini list and offers additional daily drink specials.
