The 1900s, Red Red Meat
Where: West Fest
Why: Chicago pop wizards the 1900s (5:45 p.m. July 12), pictured, packed a terrific blend of male-female vocals and catchy hooks onto their debut, “Cold and Kind,” which acknowledges life’s sour moments to make the sweet that much better. Local, ‘90s alt-rockers Red Red Meat (8:45 p.m. July 12) continue their re-emergence following the release of a deluxe edition of 1995’s “Bunny Gets Paid.”
