Some would call the new U2 record (streaming on the band's MySpace page until its official release March 3), "No Line on the Horizon," great. Most would agree it at least proves the vets still have some solid songs in their arsenal.
Plenty of other bands, however, keep making music loooong after they should have stopped. On that note, a look back at the groups that struck gold at one point and then fell out of favor by failing to strike again. --Matt Pais
