3116 Club
- Neighborhood: Garfield Park
- 3116 W. Lake St.
- Chicago, IL 60612
- 773-313-3912
At this 4,500-square foot music venue in Garfield Park, the focus is thoroughly local, from the hometown bands on the lineup to a mural-covered wall, courtesy of local artists. Want to express yourself too? Bands and fans will be free to post stickers and posters on the wall in the bar area, as long as they're music-related. (That means no ads for your blog, dude.)
The club aims to produce shows Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (with a 5 a.m. closing time on weekend nights), and at least one night will always remain all ages. The bar will serve up soda, juice and energy drinks (with an option to BYOB) until a liquor license is secured this summer. Art showings and benefit events will also be held periodically.
