Museum of Holography

People curious about this amazing technology will find the museum provides a good introduction. Holography, which has many practical uses in science, business and medicine, also provides an intriguing medium for artists, and art is a prominent focus here. In an old building on the edge of a booming loft district, the museum attempts to explain how lasers create three-dimensional images, and it shows how some holograms can move--eerily--as if the subjects were alive. Owned and operated by true devotees of holography, who also conduct classes.
