"When Harry Met Sally ..." (1989)

As you probably know, Harry and Sally finally confessed their love for each other on New Year's Eve to seal one of the most beloved romantic comedies of all time. Forget those ellipses; Friends found love and lived happily ever after. End of story.

Possible sequel: Nineteen years later Harry and Sally are older and grumpier, and Harry's become a bit too familiar with Sally's ability to fake it. They eventually decide men and women can be friends but are too bitter to make it work. Title: "When Harry Left Sally."
