My comment to 7 Pounds premiere is that my heart is broken as a mother and disappointed in whomever decides who gets to go to the premiere that my son, Joseph Nunez who played the motel owner in the movie, was not invited. He does not know I am writing this but I could not hold back. In this stage of my life and with my bad health I feel I have a right and the freedom of speech to say what I feel. Life is too short. I feel Mr. Smith and the others did a great job and I think my son did just as well. Thank you for your time. Rose Mary Robles.

This is an especially sad and depressing movie to be released during the holidays. Despite the 'karmic justice' ending... Smith does a great acting job and the supporting cast is good as well. To me, one VERY unintentional funny moment is when we realize that Woody Harrelson's character, Ezra, is revealed as a blind vegetarian who is a customer service representative for a meat distribution company. I don't know WHY that's funny to me; it just was in an otherwise very serious, well intended tale that should have been released ANY other time than the holidays.
