Our group of women went expecting a chick flick. We were not disappointed. It was just light and fun. The visuals were great. No, we don't live like that nor would the opportunity every arise. It is just fun to see how money lives! Bergen, Leach, Bening and Messing are awesome! It was a "fun" movie, but I couldn't take my eyes off Ryan's lips. Did she have some work done? Are we the only ones who liked it?

I want my monmey back! I took a grp of friends out expecting to laugh at an upscale chick flick but instead I got a poorly put together movie filled with all women (ugh) and the pnly black chick was a lezbo! WTH?I was done! But its ok.... I left before the movie was up, the characters were unbelievable and I want convinced.. It was most unrealistic. The movie went nowhere!! Re: critique of no-men "gimmick" not working when the crux of the story is about a HUSBAND...um, she didn't "invent" this "gimmick". Did you see, or more importantly, GET that in the classic movie, this was used to make a point (several, I am sure) about women's relationships and how absorbed they were/are in the topic of men. You see, there used to be something called "imagination," which, when used, creates a far more interesting story. I won't get too deep about possible messages such as: women objectify men for their own purposes, not just vice-versa. Or how this objectification makes men such cardboard cut-outs that they need not be present as whole people - leading to a chess game wherein the men are the pieces. Who wants to watch the pieces moving, really? Just food for thought. (But I will give you that no one could top the 1930's classic movie!)

Annie....from Durham ...couldn't relate to anyone on screen. Faint attempts at humor were just that, pitiful. It was a shame to see all of those very talented actresses waste their time and talent on such a lame script. But then I compare all chick flicks to "Steel Magnolias" and that's tough to beat! It's hard to believe Murphy Browns' creator wrote this script. Sad!

What a waste of time- I could have been getting a root canal! (I think I would have enjoyed it more, and there would have been less pain involved!...) Looking at Meg Ryan's lips actually made me squirm- Did I detect a new speech defect, caused by all of the foreign matter injected into what was once her sweet-smiling lips? A stellar emsemble cast embroiled themselves into a true catastrophe of a film! SAVE YOUR DOUGH!

This was the story of four women you would never, ever want to meet. Shallow, awkward, idiotic, disgusting are the adjectives we use to descibe the characters in the worst movie of all time. We (three women) hated this movie so much, we actually are taking the time to write a review.
