The movie reminded me of being trapped at the home of friends and required to watch home movies of their jerky relatives at a never-ending rehearsal dinner where people put forth unbearable toasts and lengthy diatribes about childhood days with the prospective bride and/or groom. To put it mildly, the rehearsal dinner scene was long, boring and self-indulgent with phony laughter. The wedding wasn't much better. I liked the ending--it allowed me to leave.
