The movie reminded me of being trapped at the home of friends and required to watch home movies of their jerky relatives at a never-ending rehearsal dinner where people put forth unbearable toasts and lengthy diatribes about childhood days with the prospective bride and/or groom. To put it mildly, the rehearsal dinner scene was long, boring and self-indulgent with phony laughter. The wedding wasn't much better. I liked the ending--it allowed me to leave.

First of all, it was an NA mtg, not an AA meeting and she didn't deliver a drunken toast at the rehearsal dinner, she just gave a painfully embarassing, self-centered toast.
