I rarely see a movie and immediatley wish I had stayed home but this is one of those films. Not since Congo have a prayed so fervently that the film would stop churning & I would get a refund. This movie is a complete waste of time, it lacks substance, creative plotline and onscreen dynamicism. the entire story was obvious and BORING. Please chose to clip your toenails or wash your hair rather than be forced to watch this snoozefest.

I agree with Eddie. The movies plot doesnt stick to the video game. I fell asleep right in the middle of the movie. Why the hell wasn't the color of the Valkyr green as in the video game. Hopefully a director that knows and played the video game makes a movie that does not suck. Jim Bravura looks nothing like ludacris in the video game!

Never mind the critics and everyone elses' responses, Max Payne is a smart action drama/thriller that will leave you satisfied when you leave the theater. The dialogue is great, the mood is great, the atmospheres and acting is on point and there are many action scenes that will leave you breathless. Mark Wahlberg has a great screen presence as Max Payne and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, the whole cast and director John Moore all did their thing. Great movie

movie was horrible dont waste your time. i'm a fan of the game and i still wouldnt waste time watching the film again. it literally took almost an hour into the film to get to an action scene!! and mila kunis was shown for maybe 15 to 20 minutes of the the whole film. and ludicris is the worst actor in history trust me when i say that. but yea dont let that stop you from watching the movie cause maybe if enough people watch it they'll make a sequel thats worth watching. (after the credits theres a hint of a sequel) but please john moore dont direct it!!!!!
