it wasn't meant to be a great work of cinematic art, it was meant to deliver some thrills, and it did. it was basically in the title that it was gonna be a bloodbath, and i've seen a lot of movies with more needless gore that were NOT panned by critics. and the only thing you can blame jason statham for with regard to his acting is that he choses to play similar characters, for the most part. he can play other characters, he just choses to do the "frank martin" type roles because he is offered them and people enjoy them and it's steady work. he makes a lot more than either of us do, so he must be doing SOMETHING right! i will give the critics joan allen's line about sh!&ing on the sidewalk, that was a totally lame line and my lutheran grandma could write a better expletive rich line than that. however, i would watch and enjoy jason in waiting for godot and be glued to my seat. and think that critics expect too much out of films sometime. it's entertainment, not politics.

What are you guys 14? This movie was so bad, I had to be taken to the hospital from the dry heaves I got watching this crap fest!

Worst review of a movie i have ever read. You apparently don't like this type of movie, so just say that, do not bash the movie simply because you are a douche bag.
