Of course its not serious. If movies were always based on real life situations and the normal, average outcome, who would go see them? It would be a boring movie. Movies are made to entertain. Its a funny movie and good for a few laughs. I personally love both actresses. They both are very funny and make the parts they play worth remembering. Just enjoy the movie and don't talk everything so serious.

I loved this movie too! It's a fun comedy between Kate and Anne's roles. I absolutely think Kate Hudson is a riot. The movie is worth seeing maybe with your girlfriends...Ladies could probably appreciate the underlying messages more.

I thought it was fun and lighthearted as well! Not a serious movie at all, and the ending was cute. Definitely not one to take sooooo seriously.

I saw it last night and LOVED it. It is fun and lighthearted. Not an Oscar-winner, but not all movies should be so serious. It is a comedy about a wedding, for goodness sakes! I loved it, laughed out loud, and plan to see it again when it comes out on DVD. I'm baffled by how strongly critics hate this movie -- I thought it was funny and charming!

I agree...I would not pay to see this movie! I'm disappointed in both girls that they would take on this roll.
