This bigger, busier, though definitely not better sequel certainly makes creative use of one of America’s most iconic symbols. After Agent J and Agent K destroy a gigantic extraterrestrial only to have all of New York City witness the alien’s sky-strewn remains, they program an MiB gadget known as the Neuralizer hidden within the Statue of Liberty’s torch to erase citizens’ memories of the incident.

Patriotic moment: Not only does Lady Liberty graciously welcome newcomers to our country, she also apparently renders New Yorkers amnesiac on behalf of government agencies.
