Before "Twilight" became a global phenomenon, Kristen Stewart made this low-key exercise in '80s nostalgia with indie movie cool kid Jesse Eisenberg ("The Squid and the Whale") and indie-goes-mainstream director Greg Mottola ("The Daytrippers," "Superbad"). Now, after "Twilight" became a global phenomenon, the movie is guaranteed a whole lot more attention, but can the twee tale prove itself worthy enough?
