Dumb and Dumber (1995)

Verdict: High point

The proof: A pretty great Farrelly Brothers movie about two imbeciles trying to get to Aspen, where the beer flows like wine and beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. It could have been skull-smashingly awful, but through some pretty smart writing, hilarious situations (that infamous pee-drenched scooter ride…), and Carrey’s chipped tooth, the result is an all around winner.
