"Dazed and Confused"
How-high rating: Three out of four stark-naked, bongo-playing Matthew McConaugheys.
Totally deep analysis: The pot-comedy equivalent of a fine wine, Richard Linklater’s cult favorite is a richly human panorama of the American high-school experience circa 1976, encompassing everyone from eager froshes segueing out of junior high to uncertain seniors soon to be thrust into the adult world. And who can forget McConaughey in the (possibly autobiographical) role of an aging, fun-loving stoner with an eye for high-school girls? “Dazed,” set on the first night of summer break, has a keep-tomorrow-morning-at-bay rhythm that’s perfectly clear whether or not you’re watching through clouds of smoke.

Nothing better than a mustache'od McConaughey philosophising, "Alright, alright, alright."
