Hammer time, "Oldboy"

In this ultraviolent South Korean cult favorite, a seemingly innocent man named Oh Daesu (Choi Min-Sik) emerges from 15 years of imprisonment demanding an explanation and vengeance. He achieves a healthy degree of the latter with nothing but a hammer to fend off an onslaught of the mysterious men who wronged him.
Director Park Chan-Wook stages the scene as a single-take that snakes along a lengthy corridor. The technical virtuosity will make any film-school geek drool, while Oh Daesu’s fearsome skill at battering his enemies puts most Hollywood action stars to shame.
