“Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist” (Oct. 3)

Finally, Michael Cera (“Superbad”) gets a movie all his own. Director Peter Sollett (“Raising Victor Vargas”) adapts the novel by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan about an introverted musician (Cera) trying to get over his ex (Alexis Dziena) with nice girl Norah (Kat Dennings). Based on the trailer, expect a sweeter-than-usual take on teenage love and growing up. With fewer one-liners than the last time we saw Cera, in “Juno.”
