“W.” (Oct. 17)

A movie about how George W. Bush wound up in the White House just before he leaves might seem like too little, too late. But Oliver Stone is behind this sure-to-be controversial dramatization of W’s life, starring Josh Brolin as the Prez, Elizabeth Banks as Laura, James Cromwell and Ellen Burstyn as George H.W. and Barbara and Richard Dreyfuss as Dick Cheney. Then again, Stone also gave us “World Trade Center,” the pandering polar opposite to “United 93.” Hmm.
