Fall movie preview: Saving 2008?

“Australia” (Nov. 26)

Director Baz Luhrmann doesn’t do anything small. His first movie since 2001’s “Moulin Rouge!” is set in pre-WWII Australia as an English ranch owner (Nicole Kidman) and a local man (Hugh Jackman) aim to protect her herd of cattle while confronting Japan’s bombing of the city of Darwin. Looks beautiful and epic.
