Washington played Brutus in a 2005 Broadway production of “Julius Caesar,” but to see him recite the Bard on film check out Kenneth Branagh’s highly entertaining romantic comedy. Not all of Branagh’s offbeat casting choices work—Keanu Reeves deserved his Razzie nomination as worst supporting actor—but Denzel comes off like the Royal Shakespeare Company’s coolest member ever.
