10 horror remakes worth seeing

"Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (1978)

The original 1956 film has been remade three times, including 1993’s “Body Snatchers” (with Meg Tilly) and 2007’s “The Invasion” (featuring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig). But “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” not only gives viewers a glimpse of what those aliens inhabiting soul-robbed Pod People look like, it’s also a prime opportunity to see Leonard Nimoy as something other than a Vulcan.
