LONG LONG LONG but GOOD GOOD GOOD!!! Do not go see this movie Unless you have had enough rest but this 3 hour movie needs every ounce of your attention especially for you to get it. Taraji did an awesome job...Get it Girl!! And Brad Pitt was amazing...what a triumph in his character!

The Curious Acting of Brad Pitt
By danmoore from Old Towm, January 6, 2009

Overall rating:
1

I fully realize a huge portion of Brad Pitt fans feel that his acting skills are extraordinary in scenes such as the motorcycle riding scene, the sailing scene, et al where only his hair blown profile is center stage. I believe it was Fernando who stated..."remember dahling, its not how you feeel, its how yu loook." There is never any depth of feeling from Brad Pitt. Never. None in Joe Black, none as Benjamin Buttons, or as Mr Smith or even as Rusty Ryan. Brad is a visual actor with no depth that is horribly miscast in this film which is exclusively about depth and feeling. He is best cast in quirky comedy rolls such as Chad Feldheimer in Burn Before Reading. When Brad is contrasted in scenes with actors such as John Malkovich, his limitations are apparent. However, I am confident his good looks ability will most assuredly carry him to an Academy Award nomination for this yawner.

My wife and I attend the movies on a regular basis and we both agree that this film is one of the most enjoyable we have ever seen. A fabulous story..extraordinary acting..a beautiful love story and flawlessly produced...you will be talking about this movie long after you've seen it.
