Neighborhood: Wrigleyville

The Chicago Cubs may not be known for their winning ways (last World Series: 1945), but Wrigley Field offers one of the best atmospheres to view a major league game. Ivy-covered walls, ''ice cold'' Budweiser and the bleachers (shirts optional for men), are just a few things that make Tribune Co.'s Wrigley Field a great place to see a ball game.

Opened in 1914, this park seats 38,765 in a magically intimate style. Although lights for night games were finally added in 1988, the ivy and old-fashioned ambience at Wrigley Field harken back to the time when baseball was free of free agents and interleague play. The bleachers are where the true diehard Cub fans stake out their space and maintain their reputation as some of the most intense baseball fans in the world. While the action in the ballpark is entertaining, Wrigley Field is also in a neighborhood full of places to party before and after the game.

The only thing that can stop a day at Wrigley Field from being a good time is the weather--especially when a cold spring or fall wind blows in off nearby Lake Michigan, regardless of whether the Cubs win or lose.
